Dentures

Dentures are removable dental appliances used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They are typically made of acrylic resin and sometimes contain metal components. Dentures are custom-made to fit each individual's mouth and can be used to replace a few teeth (partial dentures) or a full set of teeth (complete dentures).

Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, while complete dentures are used when all teeth are missing. These prosthetic devices help restore the appearance of a natural smile, improve chewing and speech, and support facial muscles.

Dentures require regular cleaning and maintenance, as well as adjustments over time to ensure proper fit and comfort. In some cases, denture wearers may need adhesives to help keep the dentures in place. Additionally, dental implants can sometimes be used to provide additional stability for dentures.
